HEALING YOURSELF WITH NATURE

In a world that is becoming increasingly complex, we are spending lesser time in nature. Signs of this rapid change are showing up not just in our own health but also the health of our society and our planet.

Beyond the film, we have created a wonderful online learning program to introduce you to the concept of Healing Forest walks. Try it out and see what the forests have to offer you. Link to the nature healing program.

REVIEWS

Review-festival-eagle

India’s Healing Forests is a remarkable and enlightening exploration of the many ways that the well-being of people is deeply interwoven with forests. The film demonstrates that at all times on our life’s journey — from childhood to death — our relationships with trees and other forest creatures are vital parts of our lives. This is a reciprocal relationship: in our modern world we need forests and forests need our care.” ~ David George Haskell, author of The Songs of Trees and Pulitzer finalist, The Forest Unseen. Professor, University of the South.”

  1. A big Oh My God! comes from my soul after having watched this beautiful film! I feel many of the people in the film expressed my true feelings and attitude towards forests and Nature. I can see that I am not alone in this relationship with trees. And feel happy to be part of this community of people who, as me, have a natural connection and communication with trees. I felt completely moved by this documentary. As a result, I would really like to visit some of the places that appear in the film. And meet those beautiful people who are doing such a good job with children and teenagers especially.
Thank you for this amazing, inspiring, calming film. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I have watched this film at least 3 times since i received the link and I feel that I need to keep watching this film.
It is probably one of the most beautiful explanation to why we need to see the nature as it needs to be seen and form a bond with. I have had tears and goosebumps all through. So wonderfully and sensitively put. Thank you for sharing this treasure.

I would love to screen this in my children of tribe programmes and make it a part of NGO work as well.

  3. Sometimes beauty can fill your heart and move you to tears.
The film had this effect on me. It is an amazing tribute to Nature and the human beings who are helping other people reconnect with themselves and our planet in the forests of India.
The film is also a beautiful piece of art. A collection of stories, images and music dance together in harmony and balance engaging all the senses.
I am left with so much gratitude and hope!
