For thousands of years our ancestors lived and thrived in the wilderness. Endless grasslands, dense forests and vast stretches of green were an integral part of a place we called home.

However, in the last decade we’ve trapped ourselves inside walls, cubicles and small electronic devices – creating a host of problems. Fortunately, the solutions are easily available to those who know.

Nature makes us feel complete. It’s because we have all evolved with it. In nature you can find easy and effective way for avoiding stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, as well as reducing their ill-effects.   1. It’s funny how, for so many of us, the beauty of a forest tends to draw us. I feel a connection with trees and rocks and moss and creatures that is undeniable. Thank you for bringing this community together.

    • Totally agree with this. My wife and I have done a poor job, the last few years, enjoying the beauty around us. Being in nature is perfect.

  2. Superb project for both environment and people. I love what your team is doing. Yes, forests and nature walks do really help in energizing and healing us. I remember, every summer time when we were kids until we became teenagers, we would travel by ship all the way from Metro Manila to visit our patenal grandparents in Sibuyan Island, Romblon. The island gave us a lot of opportunities to walk in a lush forest, cross streams and swim in a pristine river and the sea. I must say that such experiences are rejuvenating and memorable as they gave us a yearly dose of energy for the coming school year. Now that I am an adult, I really hope that I could make nature and forest walks a regular activity, or at best, live near a forest. More power to all of you! – Shenna (Metro Manila, Philippines).

  3. I get my strength from nature. When I am among pine trees, I feel as if I’m being embraced by them. Sadness disperses usually, but not always; Suddenly and swiftly, memories and my associated emotions come upon me, and I will think of the animal companions who have shared their lives with me, my soul indestinguishable from theirs. And then Blessed Peace; I feel their presence, and out of the corner of my eye, sometimes I will see a shadow then hear movement. Perhaps leaves moving or a twig snapping.
